UK Numbers
UK Numbers provides a quick and handy way of looking up the geographical location and usage of UK telephone numbers.
The database includes both geographical and non-geographical (access codes (1xx), mobile services, special rate services, etc). The application will also decode international numbers (e.g. 00xxxx dialled codes) and identify the country (and in some cases, e.g. North America the local area).
To perform a translation just enter the phone number as dialled from a UK landline, e.g. 0151423xxxx, 0791268xxxx, or 001515xxxx.
You can also perform a name based lookup to identify the dialling code for a particular location.
