AudioBible is an application that will let you listen to the full unabridged audio of the King James Version of the Bible streamed on-demand to your iPhone or iPod Touch whenever you are in WiFi, 3G, or Edge coverage areas (WiFi only for iPod Touch). The entire contents of the Old and New Testaments are available for you to listen to instantly without taking up any space on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Audio is streamed from the excellent readings of the KJV Bible available from the LDS Church's website.
Features:
o Excellent narrators makes listening to the scriptures a pleasure.
o Quick, intuitive interface lets you get to the desired chapter quickly.
o Remembers what section you were in when you restart the application.
o Playback starts within seconds of selecting the desired chapter.
o You can choose to have the audio played in AudioBible itself or handed-off to Safari's built-in Quicktime Player. If you choose to play in Safari, the chapter plays in the background so you can launch certain other applications or read your email while you listen. If you play the audio in AudioBible itself, you can choose to have continuous play, where the next chapter automatically plays when the current chapter is done.
o You can power-off screen during playback to save battery.
