DESCRIPTION
RAEplus is MAD Ideas Software’s new application to query the normative dictionary of the Spanish language (Real Academia Española), and obtain the meaning of words in a fast and simple manner.
RAEplus integrates a comprehensive terminological database which facilitates searching for words. RAEplus analyzes user input and updates in realtime the list of suggested terms. In this manner, users are able to speed up their searches by avoiding the need to type complete words.
RAEplus provides a fun way to discover and learn new Spanish words thanks to the multiple functions included.
FUNCTIONS
* Learn new Spanish words by looking up the meaning of the changing set of words in the start screen. Shake the device at any point to refresh the list with new words.
* Search synonyms and antonyms using the included Thesaurus. RAEplus notifies automatically the presence of synonyms of the queried word.
* History of recent searches: look up words recently searched in a fast and easy manner.
* Customize the user interface: font type, size and color can be defined in the preferences panel.
NOTE
This application requires a working Internet connection to look up the definition of words.
The thesaurus functionality can work without connection.
Not every word has registered synonyms.
